Keukenhof Tulip Park is the place to admire the Dutch tulips. More than 7 million flowers bloom during the tulip season in the gardens of this unique park. In addition to the gigantic outdoor flower gardens, there are also many flower shows inside. All gardens are beautifully landscaped and give you the perfect opportunity to take great photos. A day at Keukenhof is guaranteed to be a great day for young and old.

When is Keukenhof open in 2022?

The tulip park is only open during tulip season, the blooming period of the world famous tulip flowers in Holland. In 2022 Keukenhof will open its doors on Saturday 24 March till Sunday 15 May.

During the opening period Keukenhof tulip park is open every day of the week. You will find the opening times for the 2022 season below:

How long does a visit to Keukenhof take?

The duration of a visit to Keukenhof depends very much on your interest in flowers and how much photos and videos you want to shot. The tulip park is very large and for a visit you need to take at least 2 hours. If you want to see and do everything in the park, a visit can take up to 4 to 6 hours.

Keukenhof Tulip Park is only accessible with a valid Keukenhof day ticket. You must buy your day ticket online before you visit the park. You buy a Keukenhof ticket for a specific day and time slot (arrival time). Your Keukenhof Day Ticket is valid until closing time (7:30 pm).

Keukenhof Tulip Park is located in the Dutch countryside near Amsterdam and other Dutch cities. You can easily travel to Keukenhof from Amsterdam and other Dutch cities.

Travel with a (rental) car

Are you coming to Keukenhof with a (rental) car? Then follow the road to the village of Lisse. The tulip fields are located along the coast of Holland and can be reached from cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, Rotterdam and The Hague within an hour.

Is Keukenhof fun to visit with children?

The flower park is suitable for all ages. The millions of blooming flowers are enchanting for young and old to see. For small children there is the Miffy playground and petting zoo. For older children there is the adventure playground and the maze.

Can dogs enter the Keukenhof park?

Yes, dogs are allowed into the park as long as they are on a leash and there is a maximum of 1 dog per person. Dogs are not allowed into the pavilions or restaurants with the exception of guide dogs. Dog excrement bags are available free of charge at the ticket entrance.

Is the tulip park wheelchair friendly?

Yes, Keukenhof is very wheelchair friendly. You can even borrow a wheelchair for your visit. You will then need to book this wheelchair online in advance.

When is the tulip season in Holland?
