World Expo Floriade Amsterdam 2022

On 14 April 2022, World Expo Floriade 2022 will open its doors for six months in Almere (east of Amsterdam). Here you will discover solutions of innovators from home and abroad that make our cities more fun, more beautiful and more sustainable. And you will enjoy the fragrance and colour of flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit. Dive into the theme ‘Growing Green Cities‘ and be surprised! The World Expo will be open till 9 October 2022.
What is the Floriade Expo 2022?
The Floriade Park is a 60-hectare park where there is plenty to discover and experience. Discover, among other things, Dutch horticulture, national pavilions, the more than 40 country pavilions and the art and culture programme that changes every season.
Opening hours Floriade 2022
World Expo will be open from 14 April till 9 October 2022 every day from 10:00 to 19:00. Below are the opening hours of the world exhibition per day:

Tickets World Expo Floriade
Different tickets are available for the Floriade. These tickets include or exclude transport from, for example, the centre of Amsterdam. Please note! For the 2022 edition of the world exhibition there is a limited capacity per day. Reserve your tickets on time! The prices depend on your visiting day.

Travelling to World Expo Floriade 2022
World Expo Floriade 2022 takes place in Almere, east of Amsterdam. Floriade is easy to reach in different ways.
By car
From 14 April 2022, you can visit Floriade Expo 2022. With a parking ticket you can park your car at the car park of the Expo. A shuttle bus will bring you to the entrance of Floriade. Soon you will find more information about parking and parking tickets here.
By public transport
Almere has an excellent train connection. There are direct connections from Amsterdam, Utrecht, Groningen and The Hague, among other places. The Almere Centrum station is renovated and made more sustainable as a result of the Floriade Expo 2022. With the Dutch Countryside card you can travel by train from Amsterdam to Almere station.
From Almere Centrum Station you have three possibilities to travel to the Expo. The first possibility is the Floriade shuttle bus that leaves from Almere Centrum and drops you off at the entrance of Floriade Expo 2022. Tickets for the shuttle bus will soon be for sale.
The second possibility is by boat. From Almere Centrum you can walk within 5 minutes to the Esplanade, where you take the boat to Floriade Expo 2022. Tickets for the boat will soon be for sale.
As a last option you can choose for the OV-fiets (public transport bike). Station Almere Centrum has over 500 OV-fiets available. Floriade is easy to reach by bicycle within 10 minutes.
By bike
Almere is a real cycling city with no less than 500 km of cycling routes. A good reason to visit Floriade by bicycle! Get on your bicycle and come to Floriade in this sustainable way.
